By giving, a donation permits Danse Danse to pursue its mission to promote the growth and visibility of dance, in contemporary dance, both in new creations and in repertoire works. Since 2005, this program has used private funds to bring young people to contemporary dance shows, often for the first time. Over 775 teenagers had the chance to benefit from this program since its launch. Donations are 100% tax-deductible and welcome at any time.
Support for an avant-garde art whose popularity Is exploding! Danse Danse is today the most important contemporary dance season in Quebec, with over 20,000 tickets sold and over twenty shows at two of Montreal's major theatres: the Centre Pierre-Péladeau and Place des Arts. Its visibility among subscribers and individual ticket buyers is now comparable to that of Montreal's principal institutions of classical music, theatre and opera.
