“One compelling image follows another. The stage picture evolves and dissolves, in concert with the music. […] Three Sixty Five is a bold and considerable achievement.” (Vancouver Sun)

November 2006: Wen Wei Dance’s first Quebec appearance is a triumph. The daily newspaper Le Devoir described Unbound as “sublime,” while a Montreal public dazzled by the finely crafted work joined the ranks of admirers—already sizeable—of this young company from Vancouver. For its much-anticipated return to Danse Danse, Wen Wei Dance is presenting Three Sixty Five, a piece for 5 dancers and 1 cellist, created in October 2007. Inspired by Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, here electronically restructured and transposed by composer Giorgio Magnanensi, Three Sixty Five combines the elements of the Wen Wei Wang style—ballet, contemporary dance and classical Chinese dance—with a keen sense of composition. “Without doubt, Wang is a gifted choreographer.” (The Globe and Mail, Toronto)
